Prepare the evidence Lancing needs to review the application
A complete brief reduces assumptions and allows machinery, film, tunnel, integration and trial requirements to be considered together. Do not send confidential or hazardous samples until handling has been agreed.
Film and output
Provide the production reel label and supplier data, plus the required sustained number of accepted packs over time. State shift pattern, batch size, production gaps and changeover frequency.
Site and line interfaces
Include available footprint, access, services, conveyor height/direction, upstream equipment, downstream cooling and the next handling operation. A simple marked-up layout is useful where space is constrained.
Files and details that support a faster technical review
- Product drawings or measured dimensions and representative photographs.
- Production film label, code, material, gauge, width or layflat and reel size.
- Approved pack or clear pass/fail appearance and handling criteria.
- Required sustained output, batch/shift pattern and product-change frequency.
- Upstream and downstream equipment with conveyor height and direction.
- Site access, services, environment, ventilation and working clearances.
- Any run video showing current presentation or a recurring pack defect.
- Named technical contact for sample, trial and acceptance questions.
